Spokes, which are nothing but leadership communities, are the action centers of LeadCap. Here, new leaders are empowered and new ideas are borne.

Starting up/joining a spoke is easy. Anyone who has the right attitude - to discover his/her leadership potential and a passion to build our nation can start a spoke. Some spokes are online – like LeadCap communities in Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Groups etc. where people discuss leadership issues and decide to take action, while some others are offline – where people decide to get together and drive initiatives.

We have found that both these kinds of spokes – online and offline – are equally effective because the focus is clearly nurturing leadership and leaders. Here individuals get grounded in the basics of creating a community, creating a vision for the community, aligning individuals with similar aspirations, motivating them on a constant basis to contribute. The leader/group of leaders who start up a spoke should always focus on empowering more and more leaders, because that is the only parameter on which the success of our leaders are measured.

We suggest that you start up by joining one of our already existing spokes, and focus on them before moving on to larger scheme of things.
